The relationship between law enforcement, specifically the Texas police, and the public has been marred by violence, mistrust, and confrontations. This complex issue poses risks and dangers to both the police and the public they serve. To address this challenge, it is essential to carefully analyze the factors that contribute to these conflicts and find suitable solutions that rebuild trust and foster a more harmonious relationship.
The central problem at the heart of police-public conflict in Texas is the lack of trust. Law enforcement officers, armed to protect civilians and public property, are sometimes found misusing their powers, demanding bribes, and harassing the public. This erodes public trust in the police, making them hesitant to seek assistance. To resolve this issue, trust between both parties must be restored, enabling them to work together effectively.
Common Reasons Linked To Police and Public Conflict:
Several factors contribute to conflicts and confrontations between the Texas police and the public:
Bureaucracy: When bureaucracy prevails, governments may act against the public’s interests, leading to public outrage and demonstrations. Law enforcement often intervenes with force, triggering violence.
Local Government: Texans have a history of taking law enforcement into their own hands when disputing local government decisions. This can result in violent conflicts with the police.
Low Socioeconomic Status (SES): Economic challenges in Texas have driven some individuals to illegal activities, such as drug peddling and trafficking. Confrontations with the police arise when individuals resist arrest, leading to conflicts and disputes.
Ethnic Minorities: Ethnic differences can lead to conflicts and violence, both within the public and among law enforcement officers who may show favoritism based on their ethnic backgrounds. These conflicts often revolve around issues of color, race, and religion.
Conclusion:
The divide between the police and the public in Texas continues to create complications, eroding trust and hindering effective law enforcement. Rebuilding trust and improving the relationship between these stakeholders is imperative. Efforts from all parties, including law enforcement, the public, and local governments, are necessary to promote a more harmonious and trusting environment. Fostering understanding and unity is crucial to overcome the divisions and violence that persist between the police and the public.

Introduction
Organization is growing bigger and more complex to handle which is resulting in many needing
to adopt modern strategies and organization structures to maintain their growth. Technology has
been sighted to be at the forefront of organization growth and development but it’s also
responsible for overwhelming individual team members with work leading to bog many down.
This can result in seriously affecting their development and efficiency which makes it vital to
restructure the organization management and adopt modern strategies to address the situation
(Sisney 2013). Two main areas linked to improving organization performance are the structure &
strategy and the adoption of Holacracy management techniques.
Structure and Strategy
Traditional organization structures saw organization heads placing individual managers at
different levels to handle the staff at the position. This led to overpowering certain members of
the team who misused their privileges and implementing strategies based on their own thinking.
In most situations this would result in an organization team members being isolated and this
would result in severally compromising their performance while working. Rather than
communicating their progress the structure would isolate individual team members and hold
them accountable for their performance resulting in creating isolation within the organization.
This strategy has been overcome with the adoption of newer business strategies which require
the entire work force and team to participate as a single unit. Managers are no longer a
requirement and organization seek leaders while hiring their staff. This places each individual
responsible for their post they are working allowing them to provide feedback as well as make
propositions linked to improving productivity. Another important aspect linked to modern
business structures is the recognition of every team member to contribute an equal value to the
organization, earning them higher levels of respect (Gibbons 2015). Once again this helps
eliminate bullying and unfair treatment since the junior members can overstep their supervisors
and consult a senior manager if they have a genuine problem to discuss.
Holacracy
Holacracy refers to offering individual origination team members the freedom to manage their
own positions and report on development as well as make suggestions linked to improvement.
This is a major requirement towards improving the organization's performance since it gives the
different team members the freedom they desire to contribute towards improving the business. It
also helps speed up improvements allowing the business make changes to slow processes quickly
and improve performance (Robertson 2015). Traditional approaches would require proposals to
be made which would require following a long channel acquiring approvals before
improvements and upgrades can be made but with Holacracy individual production line
employees can make suggestions towards their posts improvement.
Conclusion
While technology has been identified to play a huge role towards improving business
performance, it’s vital that human resource continues being utilized by every business. This
makes it critical to adopt the latest management approaches which will ensure the business
registers growth efficiency without facing delays. Technologies also depend on a human
resource to operate thus it's critical to managing the work teams who can continue more towards
improving technology use and management to improve performance.
